How to print a QR code for each room
Each room has its own QR code. A trade scans it and opens that room: approved selections, drawings, inspiration, and the plan. They use the phone they already have. They do not create an account.
Open the room
From the project, pick the floor, then the room. Approved selections sit next to the plan. Print QR Code is on that page.
Print it and put it on the wall
Print the QR and tape it to a stud. When someone scans it, they land on this room.
How we use this at Foxhall
On Leesburg, the kitchen QR is taped in the kitchen. Cabinet and counter trades scan that.
Frequently asked questions
Do they need an account to scan?
No. They scan with the phone they already have.
What if they need specs for the whole house?
Print the QR on the spec package. That opens the full job. The room QR is for the wall in front of them.
If I publish a new spec package, does the room QR break?
No. The room QR points at that room. Publish a new package when approved selections change if you want the package snapshot to match.
