How to share a project with an access code
A project share is a link to the whole job: rooms, selections, and the things you are willing to let someone see. They type an access code before anything opens. They do not need a Fixture & Finish account.
Create the share
From the project, create a share link and set an access code you can say out loud. They hit that code page first. If one room is enough, send a lookbook instead.
What they see
After they enter the code, the project opens. A lookbook can stay public if you want one room on the open web. A project share stays behind the code.
How we use this at Foxhall
On Leesburg, the full project share uses an access code. The primary bathroom lookbook does not.
Frequently asked questions
Do they need a Fixture & Finish account?
No. They open the link and type the access code.
Is this the same as a spec package QR?
No. A spec package is a published snapshot for the field. A project share is the live project, and it stays behind the code until you change it.
